Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO): Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino or LINKAPIL program
The Philippine Embassy in Seoul shares the Commission on Filipinos Overseas' flagship program on diaspora philanthropy – the Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino or LINKAPIL program. Developed in 1989, the program was designed to facilitate the transfer of various forms of assistance from overseas Filipino donors (individuals or organizations) to support projects in the fields of health and welfare, livelihood development, education, small-scale infrastructure, and skills transfer or Balikturo. The program has since benefitted around 16 million underprivileged Filipinos from the country’s 82 provinces, including Metro Manila, and funded the implementation of approximately 7,000 developmental projects in the Philippines. For more information about the Program, please check the flyer or visit the CFO website at www.cfo-linkapil.org.ph. Thank you.
