PHILIPPINE AMBASSADOR H.E. MA. THERESA DIZON-DE VEGA PRESENTS HER CREDENTIALS TO REPUBLIC OF KOREA PRESIDENT H.E. MOON JAE IN
15 October 2021- Philippine Ambassador Ma. Theresa Dizon-De Vega presented her credentials to His Excellency Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea at Cheongwadae in Seoul, Republic of Korea on 15 October 2021. She was joined by Ambassadors of six other countries, namely Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Estonia, Sweden, and El Salvador.
In a conversation between President Moon Jae In and the Ambassadors held after the ceremony, Ambassador De Vega recalled that the robust relations between the Philippines and the Republic of Korea is anchored on shared sacrifices during the Korean War and an abiding mutual commitment to peace and development. She also noted that PH-ROK relations are ever reflective of both countries' deep and historic ties, as evidenced by our cooperation over a wide range of issues in the political, defense, economic, cultural, and people-to-people spheres.
Ambassador De Vega also reaffirmed the Philippines' commitment to work with the Republic of Korea in the UN, ASEAN, other multilateral fora, and President Moon Jae-in's flagship foreign policy initiative, the New Southern Policy Plus. Ambassador De Vega also expressed continued Philippine commitment to an active defense cooperation and hoped that the Philippines and the ROK can conclude its free trade agreement before the end of 2021 to bolster economic resurgence. The Philippines also conveyed its commitment to more engaged pandemic cooperation, including on vaccines, and mobility especially the movement of essential workers, business people, students, and others, and the resumption of two-way travel to help buoy the economic recovery of both countries.
For his part, President Moon assured Ambassadors present that the ROK government will do its best to achieve complete denuclearization and the establishment of lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula through dialogue and diplomacy and asked for active support for the peace process on the Korean Peninsula. He also looked forward to various achievements, such as improving bilateral relations, while the Ambassadors are serving in Korea.
Updated Advisory on Validation of Vaccination Certificate/ Card of Philippine-bound OFWs
16 October 2021- Further to the previous Advisories on the subject, the Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform the Filipino community that POLO is no longer required to validate the Vaccination Certificate/Card of OFWs who are travelling to the Philippines.
This is pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) Resolution Nos. 144-A and B, series of 2021.
Regardless of vaccination status, all returning OFWs are still required to register online through ONEHEALTHPASS PORTAL via https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC/ where copy of the vaccination certificate can be uploaded if the OFW has already been vaccinated.

Bagong Abiso Tungkol sa Validation ng Vaccination Certificate/ Card ng OFWs na Pauwi ng Pilipinas
16 October 2021- Bilang karagdagang abiso sa paksa, ipinapaalam ng Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa ating Filipino community na ang POLO ay hindi na kailangang mag-validate ng Vaccination Certificate/ Card ng OFWs na pauwi ng Pilipinas.
Ito ay ayon sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) Resolution No. 144-A at B, s. 2021.
Ganun pa man, lahat ng pauwing OFWs sa Pilipinas ay kinakailangan pa ring mag register online gamit ang ONEHEALTHPASS PORTAL: https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC/ kung saan maaring ia-upload ang kopya ng vaccination certificate kung ang OFW ay nabakunahan na.

ABISO TUNGKOL SA BAGONG POEA ONLINE PROCESSING SYSTEM PARA SA MGA OFWS AT BALIK MANGGAGAWA
15 October 2021- Nais ibahagi ng Pasuguan ng Pilipinas sa Filipino community sa Korea na may bagong POEA Online Processing System for Balik-Manggagawa o POPS BaM.
Ang POPS-BaM ay ang gagamiting online system ng mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) upang makakuha ng Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC), gumawa ng appointment sa POEA at POLO, at maka-gamit ng POEA Helpdesk sa iba pang pangangailangan nito.
Ang lahat ng OFWs, bago man o mayroon ng existing POEA Balik-Manggagawa (BM) Account, ay kinakailangang gumawa ng e-Registration sa POPS-BaM. Ang existing BM record ay maita-transfer sa POPS-Bam sa pamamagitan ng pag-rehistro dito. Sundan ang sumusunod na gabay tungkol dito:
1. Papaano umpisahan ang e-Registration?
a) Pumunta sa direct link http://onlineservices.poea.gov.ph
b) Sa e-Registration Panel, i-click ang “Let’s Go”, “Register” at “Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Statement”.
c) Punuan ang Personal Information pagkatapos basahin ang paalala. Siguraduhin na TAMA ang PANGALAN, GENDER, EMAIL ADDRESS at BIRTHDATE.
d) I-click ang “Register”. Magpapadala ang POEA ng temporary password sa registered email.
e) Mag log-in (http://onlineservices.poea.gov.ph) gamit ang temporary password na ipinadala sa inyong registered email. Gumawa ng bagong password.
f) I-upload ang inyong litrato at ang bio-page ng inyong passport
g) Sa “My Profile”, punuan ang required fields.
2. Papaano kumuha ng OEC?
2.1 Para sa mga Balik-Manggagawa o pabalik sa parehong employer
a) Log-in sa inyong POPS-BaM account
b) I-click ang “Balik Manggagawa” sa kanang bahagi ng Dashboard
c) Ilagay ang flight details, pindutin ang “Next”
d) I-click ang “Yes” sa tanong na “Are you going back to the same employer and the same position?”
e) I-click ang “Print OEC” sa tatlong (3) kopya at dalhin ito sa airport bago magbyahe pabalik sa bansang pinagtatrabahahuan.
2.2 Para sa mga nagbago ng employer o jobsite, at nagbago ng visa status
a) Mag-set ng appointment sa POLO gamit ang inyong POPS-BaM account
b) Log-in sa inyong POPS-BaM account
c) I-click ang “Balik Mangagawa” sa kanang bahagi ng Dashboard
d) Ilagay ang flight details at pindutin ang “Next”
e) Punuan ang Contract Details
f) I-click ang “Submit”
g) Piliin ang POLO Korea sa “Select Processing Location”
h) Piliin ang Appointment Schedule
i) I-print and appointment schedule
* Dalhin ang original at photocopy ng verified contract, valid passport at ARC sa pagpunta sa POLO
3. Sino ang Balik-Manggagawa?
Ayon sa POEA rules and regulations, and Balik Manggagawa ay ang OFW na nakapagtrabaho o patuloy na nagtatrabaho at magbabalik sa parehong employer at parehong lugar ng pagawaan, o magbabalik sa parehong employer at ibang lugar ng pagawaan.
