29 June 2021 – The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to share with the Filipino community the attached guidelines from the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) on “COVID-19 Prevention During the Summer Vacation Season”. Briefly, MOEL advises everyone to observe the following:
1. Schedule vacations in different times and in small groups. Avoid the peak summer holidays during late July to early August.
2. Avoid visiting crowded places and maintain physical distancing. Opt for low density vacation destinations which are listed on the government’s websites such as korean.visitkorea.or.kr, and seantour.kr/seantour/eng/0003/.
3. Wear a mask and check for any COVID-19 symptoms. Refrain from high-risk activities (e.g., overdrinking) and be tested when one feels any COVID symptoms.
The Embassy appreciates the continued support and cooperation of everyone in this regard. END
