21 July 2021- Nais iparating ng Pasuguan ng Republika ng Pilipinas sa Seoul sa Filipino community ang mga impormasyon hinggil sa madalas na katanungan tungkol sa pagbabakuna sa COVID-19 ng Republika ng Korea:

Sino ang sakop ng pagbakuna? - Ang pagbabakuna laban sa COVID-19 ay sumasakop sa lahat ng residente sa Republika ng Korea, kasama ang mga dayuhan, dokumentado man o hindi.
Hinihikayat ng gobyerno ng Korea na magpabakuna ang lahat ng residente sa Republic of Korea upang maprotektahan ang mga mamamayan mula sa COVID-19. Ang mga hindi dokumentadong residente ay hindi mahaharap sa anumang parusa kapag nagparehistro para sa pagpapabakuna.

Paano ine-schedule ang pagbabakuna? - Ayon sa anunsyo ng Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), ang schedule ng pagbakuna pagkatapos ng priority target group (eg, medical personnel at chronically ill) ay batay sa edad at lugar ng residente.

Ano ang proseso para makapag-pabakuna? – Una, magpa-rehistro (o siguruhing nakarehistro) sa database ng sumasakop na public health center; Pangalawa, mag-apply para mabakunahan; Pangatlo, kunin ang kumpirmasyon ng inyong vaccination time, date, vaccine type at health center; at Pang-apat, mag report sa designated health center sa araw na itinakda at maghanda ng proper identification.

Sino-sino ang naka-schedule sa pagbakuna ngayong 3rd quarter 2021? Ayon sa pinakahuling anunsyo ng KDCA (kalakip dito), ang general schedule ngayong 3rd quarter of 2021 ay ang sumusunod:

Paano at saan maaaring magpa-rehistro para mabakunahan?

Para sa mga may Alien Registration Number at National Health Insurance (NHIS), maaaring mag pa-rehistro sa http://ncv.kdca.go.kr o tumawag sa 1339 hotline.

Para sa mga may Alien Registration Number ngunit walang NHIS, magparehistro sa database ng public health center o tumawag sa 1339 hotline.

Para sa walang Alien Registration Number at walang NHIS, kailangan mag-apply ng temporary administration number at magparehistro sa pinakamalapit na public health center.

May bayad ba ang pagpapabakuna? – Wala. Ang pagpaparehistro para sa pagbabakuna at ang pagpapabakuna (1st and 2nd dose) ay walang bayad.

Sa kasalukuyan, ilan na ang nabakunahan sa Republika ng Korea? – Mayroon ng 16,291,956 residente ang nabigyan ng 1st dose vaccination; at 6,613,294 residente ang may kumpleto ng vaccination as of 19 July 2021.
Dahil ito ay general information lamang, ang lahat ay pinapayuhang alamin at kumpirmahin ang schedule at paraan ng pag-parehistro para sa bakuna BATAY SA EDAD, LUGAR NG TIRAHAN at VISA STATUS mula sa pinakamalapit o sumasakop na public health center.
Para sa karagdaang impormasyon, mangyaring bisitahin ang KDCA website (http://ncv.kdca.go.kr). Maari ring tumawag sa 1339 hotline o sumangguni sa pinakamalapit na health or local community center.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (VALIDATION NG VACCINATION DOCUMENTS NG OFWs)
- Sino ang maaaring magpa-validate ng vaccination documents sa POLO?
Tanging ang fully vaccinated OFWs (documented o undocumented), at ang kasama nilang immediate family members (asawa, anak at/o magulang) lamang, na uuwi ng Pilipinas mula abroad ang maaaring magpa validate ng vaccination documents sa POLO.
- Paaano maituturing na fully vaccinated na ang isang OFW?
Kapag natupad ang lahat ng mga sumusunod:
- Nakatanggap ng dalawang doses ng COVID-19 vaccine (Philippine or WHO authorized) para sa mga 2-dose series o isang dose ng COVID-19 vaccine para sa single-dose series (Hal. Janssen).
- Namalagi sa “Green Countries” ng dalawang (2) linggo matapos matanggap ang 2-dose o 1-dose vaccination. Kabilang ang bansang South Korea sa mga itinuturing na “Green Countries.”
- Saan maaaring mag apply ng Vaccine Pass ang isang fully vaccinated OFW?
Mag-register online sa ONEHEALTH PASS PORTAL na may link na: https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC/.
- Ano ang kailangan I-up-load na mga dokumento para ma-validate ng POLO ang vaccination pass?
- Vaccination Card Certificate, QR Code, o dokumento na na-issue ng host government;
- Valid Passport o Travel Document
- Proof of overseas employment (Hal.: Verified Employment Contract, OEC, OWWA Membership o anumang pagpapatunay ng employment na maaaring hingiin ng POLO.
- Paano malalaman kung na-validate na ng POLO ang request na Vaccination Pass?
Mag-i-issue ang POLO, through portal, ng vaccine pass sa OFW. Ang POLO Vaccine Pass ay ipadadala electronically sa email address ng OFW na nag register sa ONEHEALTH PASS PORTAL.
- Ano ang kahalagahan ng Vaccine Pass?
Magiging pitong (7) araw na lamang ang pamamalagi ng OFW sa facility-based quarantine at home quarantine naman para sa natitirang pitong (7) araw upang makumpleto ang kasalukuyang ipinatutupad na mandatory 14-day quarantine sa Pilipinas.
- Mag-va-validate ba ang POLO ng vaccination document ng non-OFW at Foreign Nationals?
Hindi. Para sa mga non-OFWs at Foreign Nationals na uuwi/pupunta ng Pilipinas, ang kanilang vaccination documents ay ipapakita sa isang dedicated Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) representative para sa verification ng Department of Transportation One-Stop-Shop (OSS).

APPLICATION FOR WOOJUNG EDUCATION AND CULTURE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP FOR SECOND SEMESTER, AY2021
The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform the Filipino Community that the Woojung Education and Culture Foundation is offering financial assistance to Filipino students currently studying in South Korea for the Second Semester of the 2021 Academic Year.
Please note the following requirements of the Foundation:
1. A foreign student studying in Korea seeking financial support for tuition fees and living costs. The student must be enrolled in a university as an undergraduate or graduate student. Students enrolled in language classes do not qualify.
2. The student must have not exceeded the terms of the scholarship (the reference start date is the date you begin school).
A. Undergraduate students in 4-year university - First 8 semesters (First 4 years)
B. Master’s degree students - First 4 semesters (First 2 years)
C. PhD degree students - First 6 semesters (First 3 years)
D. Joint Master’s and PhD degree students - First 8 semesters (First 4 years)
Note: Woojung is unable to offer scholarships beyond the noted terms.
3. The student must have acquired over 80 points score in academic records (equivalent to a grade of B). However, if the student is experiencing financial difficulties, he or she may still be considered.
Note: The student must have at least one semester of grades as a full-time student from a four-year Korean university (in order to determine academic potential).
4. The student must have good manners.
5. The student must not be a recipient of a government scholarship. Students receiving no scholarship from any source will receive preferential consideration when selecting Woojung scholarship recipients.
Qualified applicants must submit, personally or via postal mail, to the Embassy the following documentary requirements on or before Sunday, 01 August 2021:
