UGNAYAN SA KOREA 2019

The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Seoul, will hold Ugnayan sa Korea 2019 for the Filipino community in South Korea on 02 October 2019 at the Rizal Hall of the Philippine Embassy. Ugnayan sa Korea 2019 will include a program for Filipino-Korean youth and a legal consultation with Filipino marriage migrants.

The Ugnayan is part of CFO’s initiative in harnessing ties with overseas Filipinos and reaching out to them to discuss various ways of diaspora engagement that will promote their welfare and interests, as well as help optimize development in our home country. Through these meetings, the Ugnayan aims to gather Filipinos in South Korea to create a forum for identifying migrant issues and challenges and how the Philippine government can extend direct assistance and/or recommend policies towards providing solutions. It also hopes to strengthen relations/partnerships with the Filipino communities and support groups.
