Hiring of Project Term Personnel (PTP) as Online Voting and Counting System (OVCS) Support Staff
The Philippine Embassy in Seoul is now accepting applications for the position of Project Term Personnel (PTP) who will serve as an Online Voting and Counting System (OVCS) Support Staff in connection with the overseas voting for the May 2024 Philippine National elections. The detailed job description, required qualifications and skills for the position are enumerated as follows:
TITLE: Project Term Personnel (PTP) as Online Voting and Counting System (OVCS) Support Staff
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist in queueing overseas online voters (OOVs) enrolling and voting at the designated OV kiosk in the Embassy and during field or mobile voting activities;
- Manage crowd control at the Embassy’s designated voting and counting area;
- Assist the Special Board of Electoral Inspectors (SBEIs) in the following:
- Prepare materials and equipment for online overseas voting
- Answer queries regarding online overseas voting
- Generation and printing of required reports
- Perform other tasks that may be required in relation to Overseas Voting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Open to Filipino citizens who are of good moral character
- Must have at least a bachelor’s degree
- Must have good oral and written English
- Must be computer literate
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Good customer service skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player capable of showing initiative and working under pressure
- Ability to organize, coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks

- Ang mga distrito ng Jongno-gu at Jung-gu ay idineklara bilang Special Crime Prevention Zones.
- Magkakaroon ng mga restriksyon sa trapiko sa paligid ng Constitutional Court at pansamantalang isasara ang mga kalapit na palasyo, museo, at paaralan.
- Ang Anguk Station (Subway Line 3) ay pansamantalang isasara rin, at hindi hihinto ang mga tren sa istasyong ito. Maaaring isara rin ang iba pang mga kalapit na istasyon ng subway nang walang paunang abiso, depende sa magiging sitwasyon sa araw na ito.

ADVISORY ON SAFETY MEASURES ON APRIL 4, 2025 IN SEOUL
In view of the expected issuance of the ruling of the Constitutional Court of Korea on the impeachment case of President Yoon Suk-Yeol on 4 April 2025 at 11:00 AM and the anticipated holding of public rallies or protests on the said date, Filipino nationals are advised to avoid areas where such activities will take place, and to observe caution while moving around the city.
In this regard, the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) has advised of the following precautionary measures and restrictions:
- The Jongno-gu and Jung-gu districts have been designated as Special Crime Prevention Zones. Traffic restrictions will be in place near the Constitutional Court, and access to nearby palaces, museums, and schools will be temporarily suspended.
- Anguk Station (Subway Line 3) will be temporarily closed, and subway trains will not stop at this station. Other nearby subway stations may also be bypassed or closed without prior notice, depending on developments.

ADVISORY: PRECAUTIONS ON WILDFIRES IN SOUTH KOREA
With the latest developments on the wildfires which continue to take place in several areas in Korea and the declaration of a state of national disaster in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang Province and South Gyeongsang Province, and a special disaster zone in Sancheog County, as well as the possibility of the fires spreading further in Ulsan, Andong, Bonghwa, Uiseong and other nearby areas due to strong winds and dry conditions, Filipinos in and near affected areas are advised to observe all possible caution and to follow the guidelines of local authorities.
Filipino nationals are likewise advised to monitor developments and government advisories through the Emergency Ready App of the Ministry of Interior and Safety which may be downloaded on your mobile phones, the National Disaster and Safety Portal accessible through http://eng.safeKorea.go.kr, and the Korea Forest Service at http://eng.forest.go.kr, which maintains updates and situation reports on the wildfires.
