INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN LAW DAY 2020

The member institutions of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Ad Hoc Committee created through Executive Order No. 134, s. 1999, join the entire country in the observance of IHL Day 2020 with the theme “Preserving Human Dignity in Times of Armed Conflict: A Shared Responsibility”.
The Philippines, as a Contracting Party to all four Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949 and its three protocols, reaffirms its commitment to the effective implementation of IHL.
