ADVISORY AND GUIDELINES ON THE CONSULAR OUTREACH IN BUSAN
The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform the Filipino public that it will conduct a Consular Outreach Mission on April 15, 2022 (Friday, 09:00 AM to 08:00 PM) to April 16, 2022 (Saturday, 09:00 AM to 12:00 NN) at the 2F, Style Hall, Ramada Encore by Wyndham, Gunam-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan City.
The Embassy will render consular services including processing of passport applications and renewals, civil registrations, notarials, travel documents, NBI clearances, Embassy IDs and other certifications. Representatives from POLO, OWWA and Pag-Ibig will join the consular team to provide information on labor, welfare assistance and other services.
The following guidelines shall be observed:
1. All applicants are required to observe appropriate health protocols and social distancing measures.
2. For passport-related transactions, appointment slots may be obtained at https://www.passport.gov.ph/ (choose and click under site “Busan Outreach”) beginning 08 April 2022. There will be 150 slots opened on April 15, and 45 slots on April 16.
3. Senior citizens (60 years-old and above); minors who are 7 years old and below accompanied by an adult parent/guardian; persons with disabilities; pregnant women; and those with valid emergencies (such as death of a family member, medical emergency) or urgent need to travel, may be accommodated as walk-in applicants.
4. For transactions related to notarial services (i.e., Certificate of Natural Born, Certificate of Philippine Driver’s License, Embassy ID, Dual Citizenship) and
civil registry services (i.e., Report of Birth, Affidavit of Paternity and Use of Surname of the Father, Report of Marriage, LCCM/Marriage License, Travel Document), please obtain a slot at https://bit.ly/3ICeZto beginning 04 April 2022.
a. All requirements (original and photocopies; for passports, only photocopies are required) must be sent by mail to the Philippine Embassy on or before 10 April 2022 at the address below to allow for pre-processing and same day release of documents for consularization in Busan:

b. All applicants will receive an email from the Philippine Embassy should you lack other requirements and/or there is a discrepancy in your submitted documents.
c. All applicants for dual citizenship may take their oath on April 15, 2022 (Friday) at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and on April 16, 2022 (Saturday) at 12:00 NN to 1:00 PM. Applicants are required to arrive at the consular outreach site in the morning for preparation of documents.

MOEL ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF 1 YEAR STAY FOR E9 /H2 VISA HOLDERS
28 March 2022, Seoul – The Philippine Embassy wishes to share the official announcement issued by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) of the Republic of Korea today on the Decision of the Foreign Workforce Policy Committee on the following:
1. Foreign workers with E9 and H2 visa who have not previously availed of the 1-year extension of stay and whose existing contract will expire between 13 April 2022 to 31 December 2022, will be given a one-year extension of stay, provided they are legally staying in Korea.
2. Foreign workers with E9 and H2 visa who have previously availed of the 1-year extension of stay and whose contract will end between 13 April 2022 to 30 June 2022 will be given an additional 50-day extension of stay only, provided that their total stay in Korea will not exceed 6 years and will comply with other conditions.
In addition, the employer of the foreign worker must apply for extension of employment with the local employment centers.
