6 July 2021- The Philippine Embassy in Seoul wishes to inform the Filipino community that pursuant to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IAFT-EID) Resolution Nos. 123-C and 124-A, s. 2021, inbound fully vaccinated Filipinos, including Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who stayed exclusively in Green Countries/ jurisdiction for fourteen (14) days immediately preceding arrival in the Philippines shall have shortened period of facility-based quarantine.
Said Filipinos must carry their official documentation of full vaccination validated by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), or present their International Certificate of Vaccination, whichever is applicable. Furthermore, the IATF has listed South Korea as one of the “Green” countries.
Relative to this, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has issued the attached Guideline on Validation of Vaccination Documents of Returning OFWs by the POLO.
Who are covered by the Guideline? - a) Regular / documented OFWs; b) Undocumented OFWs; and c) Accompanying immediate family members of returning OFWs up to the fourth degree of affinity or consanguinity.
Who is considered fully vaccinated? - A person who has received any of the following after more than or equal to two (2) weeks: a 2nd jab of the 2-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or a single-dose vaccine.
How to apply for a Vaccine Pass- Returning OFWs shall register online through ONEHEALTHPASS PORTAL via https://www.onehealthpass.com.ph/e-HDC/ and upload the following documents: a) vaccine card/ certificate (paper or digital/ QR code), b) valid Passport; and c) proof of overseas employment (eg, ARC/ verified employment contract/ valid OEC/ proof of OWWA Membership).
Upon approval of application, the Vaccine Pass shall be sent electronically to the OFWs, which the latter shall print and present to Quarantine authorities on arrival in the Philippines.
